How To Measure For Replacement Hub Bearings
If the measurements are not making sense, or just want a little help call us (770) 603-8511 or just swing by our Jonesboro, Georgia location for your replacement bearings, we stock just about all sizes and styles!
Trailer wheel bearings are specific to the spindle that is installed on the axle on your trailer.
You will need to safely support the trailer, remove the following items in this order, keeping track of where and how they came apart. Remove the wheel and tire, remove the grease cap, remove the cotter pin and washer that secure the spindle nut and finally, remove the spindle nut. After which you will be able to remove the hub from your trailer.
Once the hub is removed you will be able to get the part numbers from the inner and outer bearings to determine the correct replacement parts for your spindles.
I have attached a photo of the parts showing where the part numbers are located and the areas that you will need to measure if your parts do not have part numbers etched on them. Once you have them swing by and get some new ones!
