What Goes Into a Coffee Trailer Build
Every coffee trailer starts with a finished concession shell: insulated, with finished floor, walls and ceiling and electrical. From there we configure it for coffee service:
- Sink package. A sink package configured to your needs, so you can rinse pitchers and portafilters and keep the bar clean all day.
- Power for your equipment. Send us your list of espresso machines, grinders, blenders and refrigeration, and we'll configure power for your equipment to your needs, with shore power hookups or a generator box.
- Serving windows. Choose window sizes with glass and screen, placed where your customers order and pick up. Many coffee owners like separate order and pickup windows to keep the line moving.
- Bar layout. Counters, prep tables and cabinets laid out for your workflow: machine, grinder, milk fridge and cups all within reach.
- Refrigeration. Room for milk, cold brew and syrups with refrigerator or freezer options.
- Comfort and curb appeal. A/C, an awning or a porch for seating, and a color or wrap that turns your trailer into a rolling billboard.
Inside a Coffee Trailer We Built
The coffee trailer at the top of this page shows how a build comes together. Stainless steel countertops run down both sides, so there's room for the espresso machine and grinder on one side and cups, pastries and the register on the other. Sliding glass serving windows on both sides let you serve from either side of the trailer. On the back wall, a stainless sink sits next to a separate handwash sink, with the electrical panel mounted above the counter and a window for extra light. White cabinets with black trim and stainless pulls keep supplies out of sight, and a roof A/C, LED lights, white walls and ceiling and a wood-look floor finish it off. Your build can follow this layout or start from a blank sheet.
Design It Live in 3D
Coffee bars are all about workflow, and you get to see yours before it's built. On custom builds, your deposit unlocks a one-on-one video session with our in-house CAD designer, who drafts your trailer in 3D while you watch. Move the espresso machine, resize the pickup window, add a second fridge, and see it all in real time before production starts.
