The 6 Decisions That Set Your Price

  1. Chairs. Count your chairs plus working clearance around each one, then add a waiting area if you want one. This drives length, and length drives price.
  2. Water. Shampoo bowl, hand sink, water heater, fresh and grey tanks. A bathroom adds the most cost.
  3. Power. 30 vs. 50 amp service, outlets at every station, clipper and dryer circuits, and a shore-power cord vs. a generator box.
  4. Climate. A/C sized for the trailer, plus heat for winter.
  5. Finish level. Vinyl vs. upgraded walls, flooring, backlit mirrors, LED lighting, cabinetry and tool storage.
  6. Exterior. Blackout package or color, plus a wrap-ready finish for your branding. Stabilizer jacks so the chairs don't rock.

Payload matters. Chairs, cabinets, water and mirrors add up fast, so tell us everything you plan to install, and we'll show you the axle and GVWR ratings for the trailer you choose.

Licensing and Local Rules

Licensing and permit rules vary by state, county and city, so check the rules and regulations in your area before you open. Many owners find smart, creative ways to set up and operate legally, and we're happy to talk through build options that fit your plans: design & price yours.

Shell vs. Turnkey: Which Is Right for You?

  • Shell: best if you or a contractor you trust can finish plumbing, chairs and decor. It's the lowest entry price.
  • Turnkey: you open faster, and we coordinate electrical, plumbing and layout in one build. Your deposit includes a live 3D design session with our CAD designer, where you'll see the chairs, mirrors and stations placed before the build starts.

Paying for It

  • Rent to own: barbershop trailers are specialty builds, so rent to own takes 20% down and is available to buyers who live in TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, TN or FL, on trailers up to about $25,000. No credit check rent to own for buyers in TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, TN and FL. Shells and smaller shops fit; for turnkey shops ($30K+), ask us about higher-priced builds. Outside those states? ClickLease financing is available in all 50 states, with a soft-pull pre-approval and a low amount due at signing (just a doc fee, under $500).
